Rafting on Jølstra

"This is real RAFTING!" Amid the scenic beauty of western Jølster you will experience a brisk and challenging river with plenty of water spray, excitement and fun, coupled with that wonderful sensation of risk that you've dreamed of. Our experienced guides take you safely through the rapids. Also suitable for beginners.

The river has many and long rapids. We vary the trip after water level, your wishes and experience. 
 
After dressing and safety instructions at our base, we put the rafts on the lake Jølstravatnet. Necessary paddletechniques are thought during the approx. 350 meters paddle to where the river starts. After the trip we transport you back to the base by bus. Why not relax with a barbeque and a bath in our hot tub to complete the day?

Practical information

  • Difficulty: 3 – 4+
  • Minimum age: 15 år
  • Duration: approx. 3 – 3,5 hours
  • Meeting point: Our base at Vassenden, (see map)
  • Departures:  at 10am, 2pm, 6pm
  • Price: NOK 850,- pr. person
  • Minimum rate: <5p NOK 4.500,- total

Minimum rate apply if you are less than 5 persons in the group and want rafting at one point where we have not set trip already. If more people wants trip on the same time, so that there are more than 5 people, the minimum rate will no longer apply.
